For the record, a front plate is required in Illinois too, and I run without it completely.
I know that the cops will tag you for anything. I just got pulled over for not having a plate on my car. I got a verbal warning. No fix it ticket. It sounds like NO S8NT got a fix-it ticket.
Fix-it tickets still suck cuz he has to revert back to stock and then get the ticket signed off not to mention still pay the fine!!
