I need pics of you to prove you're a woman and not a guy and then I'll determine if you should be tuning your car

IMO there's nothing wrong with being a girl and into to mods.... From what I know and have encountered, some ladies can really put some so called gearheads (guys) to shame when it comes to tuning knowledge and dedication... but I DO recommend that you take professional driving lessons and get comfortable with you ride first before you pour your resource (time & money) into modding your car (if you still want it by then)....

Just my .02....

i think you should hand the keys to your bf and give him the cash you would've used for the "tuning"
obviously your bf knows more about you than us strangers on some board.

Do it! Turn that wrench, girl... Turn it!! (Sorry. I'd better knock that off before my imagination gets the better of me... )

As far as girls working on cars? Very appealing. Very sexy. What's more, very practical.

That said, what mods are you looking to do? Chances are there are a dozen people here who have done the exact same thing who would be willing to lend some advice on the matter, so you wouldn't be alone regardless of your wrench-turning skills.

Uncalled for and obviously misguided based on the question at hand. I had never worked on any car before owning my s2k. Thanks to this board and some reading, I did most of my own work on the S. There's certainly nothing about auto work that precludes a woman from being capable.

I think a woman who works on her car is hot. More power to ya.

I'm stubborn... you can watch

Matter of fact, my friend's S2k is under warrenty and my other friends is not, so they were going to switch headlights- you get the idea.

Well S2k #2 couldn't get the bumper back on, So i had to get on my back and almost underneath the car to get it back on i threw the socket....and I cuss like a sailor when things don't go my way

highwayhottie, would you like to take a look at my "undercarriage"? sorry, had to say that

seriously though, your bf sounds condescending and not very supportive of a worthwhile endeavor of yours. time to move on i think

Wow a woman into mods i really respect a woman like that .Now that i respect you can you work on my car too.We can do it together and after we can go to dinner
a discuss the finer points of our common interest . I went to fall colors here on the east coast this year and also enjoyed the abilities of the many women in the Pittsburg area form a cultural perspective, I respect them as well .Here in ny area you'll find men in general have a better grip on the position of women in todays society .Many of the menbers of s2k metro group joined me in this celerbration
of the independence of women in Pittsburg.
