Default glass window

If everybody calls honda, we might get them to figure out a way to retrofit the glass window into our "old" s2000's. That is unless you like your scratched, creased plastic window.

If you exercise a little care, your rear window will neither be creased nor scratched.

I have the static cling tint on the outside of mine. If its down for say 3-4 hours it gets a crease but the South Florida sun just bakes it away.

Unfortunately, I baby my top. Always clean, never left down w/o the boot. The window is a mess-can hardly see out. Dealer will replace the plastic of course, but who wants another one. My car was puchased Dec 2000 with 7 miles (put on by my wife) and only has 2500 miles on it currently. I wonder if other roadsters have the same problem with the plastic window?

What are you using to clean the window with??? I have had the car for over 2 years, and the window still looks like new. I use the Meguiar's cleaners and Plexus for everyday use.

I used distilled H2O and a cloth diaper. I figure that is as gentle as can be. H2O may be known as the universal solvent, but I doubt it has been trying to put my window into solution. And it doesn't explain everybody else who has a horribly disfigured rear window. Maybe it's the Michigan weather, except that I don't drive it unless the sun is shining. BMW plastic windows don't seem as gnarled.

Does anyone take the window OUT? or just do the contortionist thing from the inside? Cusious cuz I have some not to bad scratches that I think would come out if I could just get some leverage.
