Glovebox door question... how far does it open?

Mine goes all the way down too. Sometimes I forget to put it back up, and it leaves a nice little crease in the console.

I think they all open down to the console.

BTW, where is the damn secret compartment?

Purebred; Open your "glove box" (aka CD holder) and find a latch at the top edge that lets you lift the solid portion between the seat backs.
