Default Going the longest with spring spacers

Soon after getting the car, I checked the rear springs for the spacers and none was found. But for some reason I didn't check the fronts, maybe because all the threads on the subject refered the the rears more often. Well, the car is two years old, and I remove the left front to repair a flat and there hanging by two loops, a spring spacer . So I removed it and took a test drive on some corners (after fixing the flat) and did not feel any handling difference. So I think that the spacer was just barely hanging there the whole time. There was none on the right front and I rechecked the rears.
