Default Spring spacers left on S2K 3750 ml

Changing my oil for the first time today I noticed the
dealer left the spring spacers on the front springs.
I have 3750ml's on my car could this have damaged my S2k?
I can't f__k'n believe it I sent the letter, that I got off this
website to my dealer. Spring spacers are the first thing on the list !! And when I picked it up I asked if they were removed
and the answer was yes. I guess I should've checked myself.
It just goes to show you if you want something done right you
have to do it yourself.

Tell me if this could cause damage to the springs, linkages,
tierods, shocks or something else?

I'm asking for advice what should I do ?

- Take it to the dealer and bitch and mone and try and to get
something for them being stupid ?

- Take the spacers out and forget about it ?

Please give me some feedback.

Thanks,
Chris Driver

My understanding is that the spacers are there for shipment only. It appears the entrance and exit angle on the car exceeds that of the delivery ships. The spring spacers keep the car from "plowing in" and scrapping paint; both coming and going. There should be no damage to the car as the spacers are are somewhat compliant. Although it is a sad fact that with the spacers left in you have no idea what this car can really do. Take some pictures and document the problem. Honda has make specific check lists which someone at the dealer either "falsified" or your car was not prepped to Honda standard. What is it worth? You have two choices. Hit your dealer up for a 100K service contract for free (or negotiate). Or take the car home; spacers intact and tell him you'ld like to meet the regional representative on the matter immediately(this will change his tune as he will know they messed up.....bad).

They were on the springs themselves. They are a black rubber.
