Goodbye S2Ki and my S2000
Wow, I'm sorry to hear about this.
I thought the days of corporations forcing their employees to move against their wishes ended back in the 80's. I know that in my business we have to practically bend over backwards to retain people. If we tried to pull something like this, the employee would quit in a millisecond and go to work for our competitors.
But maybe things are different in your business.

Owning an S in Manhattan has already been quite difficult, and I could imagine doing so in Hong Kong could only be worse. Besides, there aren't roads and tracks for the S to unleash itself ...
Well, in terms of getting forced to move. It's quite a long story -- would literally take 4 to 5 hours just to explain it. I could technically refuse to move at all (and they might shove me into some less meanigful or desireable positions in the same firm), or I could quit. However, given where the market is and my experience ... moving is the slightly better option. If I quit, there is pretty much only 1 or 2 firms that are in the same caliber, and most likely I'll have to start at a more junior level ...
In any case, thanks guys. I hope to be back on the S2K ownership one day. Was even hoping to own the new NSX some day and keep my S2K if I stayed in America.
