Got a baseline dyno today!
actually those are great numbers on a Mustang dyno, I've seen guys in the 170 range on that dyno as it does read lower than the typical dynojet numbers we see on here. You are actually using the dyno with the right perspective, it is to measure delta gains and losses as you modify your vehicle, the outright numbers dont mean a whole lot. Thanks for posting.
Remember, the numbers are meaningless, its the change that you see with modifications that counts. The dyno might as well tell you that you are at "5", and with some mods you are now at "6" - they can give you general ideas on power but they are not that reliable and incomparable. even getting a baseline to follow up on a different day/climate is not very reliable.

I got the baseline for 2 purposes, really. First, to get a baseline to compare modifications. Second, to get a general idea of the power its making to get an idea of the overall strength.
