Default Low profile 16"s

has anyone ever played with lower profile 16" tires and have any feed back. talking about 215/40r 16's or or a 225/45r16 I know theres someone out there..

They make your speedo wrong and your wheel gap look stupid. Buy some 17's they aint that expensive.

Wow, lets put aside the dangers of low pro tires on a SPORTS car, it would look ridiculous and just plain ugly.

Sfedai, many many sports cars have low profile tires they aren't dangerous at all. Gigdy made the correct points it would mess with your speedo. I had gone the opposite way when I had my stock AP1s on I actually upgraded to the 245 in the rear and kept the same 50 profile making the sidewalls taller. Had to correct for a little bit of speedo difference but it filled the wheel wells much better in my opinion. Going lower would leave a silly amount of wheels gap

I saw a parked ap1 with the ap1 stock 16s and he was on 40s. looked really small and huge fender gap lol.
