Well after you finish sueing the crap out of the trucking company (or settle for an UnGodly amount). Please post pictures of your new Porsche Carrera GT Turbo for us to envy. Don't get me wrong, glad you are alright. But I would push the point a little. I'm in the process of getting my CDL and I have rode with and seen some real A$$holes who need to be stripped of their licenses. Good Luck.

THAT SUCKS!!!!

I have always found it so disconcerting when I'm on the freeway and 18 wheelers' wheels are up to my shoulder.

Nice choice of tires too BTW. How do they do in the rain?

Ouch man, that really bites. Something liked that ALMOST happened to me once, luckily, the guy heard me leaning in my horn and stopped in time for me to back up so he could continue making his turn.

Eeesh. Now's the time prove to us Canucks that Americans are sue happy - cuz this one should make you richer.

I doubt I could sue as there was no medical injury. The guy was only moving about 2 mph, I do have to admit, I'm a little sore right now probably from squeezing the steering wheel with all I had in me.

But I will see to it that it's an OEM top.

Oh, and the trucker told the cop that I backed up. WTF?!?! Yeah, the cop didn't believe him either.

I hate big trucks like that as it is.

I don't like truck drivers that seem to think that they always have the right of way, and people will yield for them and allow them to break traffic laws as much as the next guy (i don't care what they are driving), but to generalize an industry that, if it didn't exist, would put a halt to this country is a little ignorant. I like being able to order things off the internet or buy groceries at the store 5 blocks from my house.

With that being said....that is crazy, i cant imagine being in the car with that happening. Glad you are ok - and....that car had better be perfect by the time this is done. Truck drivers are supposed to be better drivers with more training than the average joe and their driving should reflect that. Good luck!

Nate

If I had not read the story, I would have thought it was a failed attempt of Fast and Furious.

Sorry to hear about your accident, they need to pay more attention. Whatever you do, don't get a Robbin's top. I'm pretty sure you can get a new OEM top.

Just glad you didn't get crushed.

Actually I find most truckers to be overall very nice people - and they're generally better drivers than the average idiot.... Just not this guy
