What an idiot...be sure to have the frame checked out. When he dragged you, it could have been bent and you would not necessarily notice that. Good luck!!

I feel your pain. I was driving in bumper to bumper traffic when a Semi decided to turn into my lane. I was laying down the horn and he didn't want to stop. I really had no where to go as there were cars infront and to the side.

This only 3 days after I bought the car.

Incredible! This actually could have been alot worst then it looks. I am glad you're safe. Just take your time with getting everything checked out. Good luck getting it fixed.

I doubt I could sue as there was no medical injury. The guy was only moving about 2 mph, I do have to admit, I'm a little sore right now probably from squeezing the steering wheel with all I had in me.

Oh, and the trucker told the cop that I backed up. WTF?!?! Yeah, the cop didn't believe him either.
Actually, a little bad press can be detrimental to a company. The company should be more then willing to settle especially since he lied to the cop (hope the cop documented the TDs version in the Police Report). I am not a believer in "Sue-em-all". But I couldn't imagine going through that. Especially with out crapping or peeing myself . I think you would be owed something for that (Punitive Damages) besides your car probably is totaled. (I envision it needing alot of work) I'd talk to someone at the company, preferably in person just to see what they say about it. Once again, glad you are all right

I actually tried, and it didn't work out as well as I would have thought.
I can't image you having ANY chance at getting out the passenger side in a situation like this. The cockpit of the S2K is so tight and the center tunnel is tall and wide. Especially with the top closed you would be hard pressed to try and get out of the drivers seat without opening the door.

Jesus, some of the responses here are just retarded to say the least

I'm sure the trucker woke up this morning and said, "I'm going to run over a s2k today!"

It was an accident. Get it fixed, move along

Your car will be as good as new. You weer not at fault here. I have a CDL and you are responsible for your trailer just as much as you are your car. I do not think the driver ever saw you. Keep us posted as to how it turns out.
