If it isn't totaled, can I get the AP2 bumpers and whatnot? Will the fit or is it a bitch?

Anyone else notice that in the first picture with the SUV there is no LHS quarter panel damage by the door. In the second picture the quarter panel is dented.
Yeah wtf is up with that but its not the quarter panel its the fender and its the RHS not the LHS; looks like someone got pissed off after they got out the car and kicked it!

When I totaled my ols SI I punched it cuz I was so pissed off and it just added more damage!!!

Assuming all parts replacement and no frame/major component damage. You're probably looking at about $4-5k worth of parts (my estimate). Keep in mind that this would mean brand new parts with paint and not including labor. Even if the forward part of the frame is a little damaged, it could still be worked out by someone who knows what's going on and you'd never know the difference.

IMHO I don't think you want them to total it because of the year and mileage on yours. You may get something comparable in price but most likely it will have a repair much like yours already done to it and no telling what shape it's in otherwise. Mileage will probably be lower and in worse shape.
Your estimate is way off. You are looking at about 8-10K worth of parts, and about 3-5K worth of labor. Im 80% positive the car is totalled. Go to any bodyshop that you know, and they will get the adjuster to total it.

I was unofficially told by someone at Progressive that 12k of damage would total it.

Whats S2ki's consensus, it have that much?

If the repairs are 70% of the cost of the car they will total it.

I think it might be totaled.

If you don't want it you can tell the insurance that. sometimes they will work with you.

You can talk to the adjuster on specifics on what/how you want things repaired.

Example: my truck was rear ended and they were going to reskin the bed, I was specific that I wanted a new bed, they gave me a new bed. You can make them replace items that are not visible. if they are damaged, sometimes they try to get by cheap by leaving things that you can't see. But i think techically they are supposed to leave the car how it was before the accident.

But wiat to hear from them.

total, your car in california is worth about 10-12k with that mileage.
