Thats why you roll your windows down as soon as you see a cop.
Over here in NJ, if a cop asks you to "pop your hood" you can deny them that as it is a closed and locked compartment -- meaning you need a search warrant.

Don't even go there. For the cop to seach your car, all they need is a probable cause and that probable cause is up to the discretion of the cop.
theres a section dealing with that response in a police training video, some where online.
in the demo, basically if you tell them that, they'll say they can impound your car for some reason (dont remember the reason),
and that its your choice: pop hood, or get it impounded
About a month ago I got a ticket for not signaling. When I went to court to talk to the D.A. I told him there was a malfunction in the electrical system that i was unaware of and he dismissed the ticket.

after all, when youre pulled over, you become a meal ticket for the system
imo, it seems like once you get a ticket, you'll still end up paying something
whether you win or lose...unless the cop is a no-show
btw, wasnt the acting so awesome, lol its right up there with
award-winning p0rno acting !

As for the tint, I find that if you immediately roll down the windows when the lights go on so as to give the officer visibility as soon as possible they tend to be much more gentle. I have 5% tint and do this ANY time I get pulled over.
How do I know this you ask??? Personal experience. My old car had limo tint on it when I got pulled over for speeding (yes I was guilty). The officer flat out told me that if I didn't have the tint he would have let me off with a warning. I was also made to remove the tint on the spot just as yourself. Sucks but it's just one of those things, cops hate tint......

California sucks. CARB. Earthquakes. Drive-by's. Celebrities run amok. Don't move there.
WTF HERE PEOPLE!
Are we losing our minds or what? I hesitate to say that I am a former LSP but.....
My BIGGEST PEEVE is a turn with NO SIGNAL!!!!
As for your tint I would have to agree with earlier posts because walking up to a car at night with ANY tint made me very nervous in this day and age.
If you drive like a 19 year old ricer you will be treated as one. I agree that he gave you a pass on the tint by making you remove it but it was not legal in MY La.
If "Drive it like you stole it" is your motto then stick to the back roads.
As for your grammar.....that's a WHOLE DIFFERENT POST!!!!!
Flame at will...
I'll still be here!!!!
