luckily, u came away from it unscathed. in my previous life, as a 350z owner, i also had my FRONT right suspension bent from hitting a curb. it wasn't 45 degrees turned in, but one of the suspension arms (aluminum) was replaced just the same. it cost me 500bucks including the labor at the nissan dealer. good luck.

If it was 20k on OEM tires, those tires are going to be nekkid.
i replaced mine at 25k+ and they were still above the wear indicator marks

my fronts lasted even longer than that!

I can't beleive that cop gave you a ticket on top of all that you just went through! I would have been pissed! I hope everything works out.

I feel for you. Exact same thing happened to me driving an Accord. I got a ticket as well. Make sure the suspension parts that need to be changed are changed. Most are bolt-on's, so the car should drive the same even if the repair is done at a semi-decent place. My accident taught me the value of VSA, and that I should get the best tires I can.

the control arms are aluminum, so they bend easily. which is probably a good thing.
Weird... I thought they were made of cast iron.

So if the cop didn't clock your speed...did he even see it happen? Definitely fight it. Good luck with repairs.

You got lick with the driving too fast for conditions ticket. You could have been ticked for failure to maintain control or reckles operation. I agree that it sucks though. I'm glad that you are OK.

I spun out doing a 900 on the freeway in clear conditions before, was like 2 yards away from the barricade, No damage other than the tires having bald spots for e-braking.

Cop wasn't there to witness it, plus he didn't clock your speed.

Did they even have one of those accident investigator out to see how fast you were going?.....
