I have a similar setup (GC 340/380, OEM shock, RA-1s) and I think they work pretty good for autoX and track. On really rough surfaces they might not be as good as the stock setup but on decent surfaces they feel better. Not sure why anyone would just get springs since they 1) cant be adjusted for height 2) can't be corner weighted 3) don't offer the spring rate options offered by GC. The only disadvantage of GC compared to simple springs is the extra $100 or so.

I've had the S out on three track days since the GC stuff was put on earlier this year. Running the 340f/380r spring rates and RA-1s, I like the balance of the car very much. I think that upping the front spring rate from the stock 218 to 340 has really dialed out a lot of the unwanted oversteer tendency.

So Ryan , IN YOUR OPINION, would TEIN RA's be better than GC / Koni / Eibach for the S2000 for your average mostly street / some canyon / occasional track usage? Why/ why not?

Personally I'm not a fan of Tein.

No. The Koni is a better shock, the GC is obviously a better spring and it`s easier to swap rates as they just use a standard 2.5" ID spring. Again, this is just my opinion, which is based upon testing I performed on my current setup vs. the Tein RS I had on my old racecar.

The best place to get GC is GC. At the time of order you can specify the spring rates. If you want to try different spring rates later, you need to buy another set of Eibach springs.
