s2k and buy what you want for it. If it isn't 50k worth then save the rest. At the end of the day people would probably think more of a modified cheaper car than a stock expensive car.


Now if it was me and i had 70k i would buy a NSX for sure, then turbo it and make it pretty and then be happy.

S2k with hardtop, supercharger, rims, bad-ass tires, bad-ass coilovers, bolt-ons, etc. $10-15k?

Evo 9 modded to 400whp. Mmm.

That's what I would buy instead of dumping 50k into one car and having to insure it. That'd be stupid.

an NSX is way too expensive for what you actually get. No way....

I was a diehard Porsche GT3 fanatic until the GTR came out...now it would be just a waste of money

 

lol. economics didn't teach you about investments, did they?

 

What I would do:

Buy something cheap and beat, like a 240SX or miata. Drop in an LS1, possibly turboed. Quality suspension and drivetrain parts. Cage it and reinforce the chassis. Nice custom paint job, strip most of the interior, and redo what's left in alcantara.

That's probably $35-40k spent if you do most of the labor. Use some of the remaining for a DD pickup, and save the rest.

Or, just spend a couple grand on making your S2k a little nicer, and save the rest. Extra money in the bank is always a good thing.
