1) I just bought my S2000 yesterday and I'm still getting use to it. I have noticed that when I let off the gas to shift gears (not necessarily during hard driving), it feels like the back end of the car wants to kick out a little. I actually kind of like that but I'm not sure if this is common.

2) Ok, the stereo sucks! I plan on replacing the factory speakers. If I also replace the deck, can the new stereo be installed so that the audio controls beside the steering wheel still work? Also, Honda is supposed to be coming out with a subwoofer that fits under the passenger seat ($299). Has anyone heard what this sounds like? Does anyone else make something similiar for less money or better sound?

Thanks in advance.

tripod,

1) This is normal. It is called throttle steering.

2) Talk to Pinky about his stereo mod. Make many aftermarket
stereos work perfectly with the remote stereo controls.

Congratulations on your purchase,

James

I am in the same stook(boat) as far as the stereo. I ordered the Nak in dash 6 disc but found that the 6 disc offered by honda is Alpine. In that case I can still utilize the controls on the dash. I havent heard anything about the subs performance, but I am also very interested. As far as the door speakers I am going with some Kapa's. 6 1/2 in the door and high seperates either in the door or in the windshield beam. There isnt much depth and I am trying to avaoid my tendacy of going overboard. My last excursion in the Yukon cost nearly 15 geisels.
S2ki has some great ideas and speaker recomidations as far as keeping the door stook.
As far as the back end I am having fun realizing how light this car is. Becareful.

Peace

Make sure you have the right air pressure in the rear tires.
