Hard acceleration on wet
If the OP had started the thread.........
"my last three autocrosses were in the wet and I'm getting wheel hop at the start"
Would you guys be flaming him ?
There are many reasons for wheel hop and since there is no known rear traction bar set up for the S2000 try first by playing with tire pressures.
Several manufacturers make hard bushings for the rear attachment points (Spoon.Mugen,ect..) that maybe your next move
Let us know if you found a solution

I think you should stop driveing like a jackass
Why can't people just answer the question instead of giving driving lessons.
I used to have an 200sx (european equivalent of the 240sx but with a different engine). I often got wheelhop. Not in the wet though, but on dry asphalt. It is a common problem with these cars because the bushings in the rear subframe are to soft. So taking a look at tire pressure, shocks and bushings is probably the way to go.
What pressure do you run in your tires?

And it seems like a lot of people here think that a bit of acceleration is driving like a jackass... If so, then yes I do! I don't remember the tire pressure, but I do remember it was quite close to the maximum of what's written on the side oft them. I won't be able to check until next friday. I'll follow your advice/suggestions jurn, and check the tire pressure, and bushings. Maybe Powerflex is the way to go?

Maybe some harder bushings is the way to go. I'll do some testing with tire pressure as well, next time it's raining/wet.

Hmm...
I guess you got some balls. I would crap my pants if someone drives my S under VTEC in rain when I'm on the passenger seat.
Maybe only because I spun the hell out of my car in rain and facked up the suspension before....

The shocks feel good in when driving, but I'll check them and also take a look if I can find some bushing that needs to be replaced.

BTW i run about 35 psi in my rear tires and have never had any trouble with wheel hop. Think we have about the same tire size as well. 255/17/40
