Hard acceleration on wet
I have experienced weel hop with the S2000 on an unpaved parking lot with wet gras when I tried to accelerate. This was because the tires were way out of balance. it needed in total 40 grams to balance each wheel.
The reason for this was a malfunctioning pressure gauge and I had been driving a while with mildly underinflated tires making the sides a bit more worn (only 1 mm). If you have been driving with overinflated tires for a while this could also cause this.
so check also the balance of your rear tires

Not to sound like a jerk, but the best way to not have this happen is to take it easy in the rain. The s is a fun car, but in wet conditions it will not be very nice to you if you dont treat her with respect. Think of it like a hot date, if you treat the girl like crap you will never get anything out of her, but if you treat her well and play your cards you may have found yourself somone who will treat you good back.
