If you can't drive it with the top down, you shouldn't be driving it at all.

I'm an all day top up person, and awaiting my hardtop. I personally do not like vert's, not really my cup of tea, but go with a soft top for a while and then decide whether you want to get a hardtop.
Best of luck

My hardtop has been on the car since 2007. I would have bought the S2K if it was a coupe instead of a convertible. I just like the lines with the HT. Of course if I want to go top down, it only takes 5 minutes with 2 people.

5 minutes?

more like 30 seconds....

4 latches, 1 plug... lift.. walk, put on ht stand and go... i guess if you count putting the cover on top of the hardtop it's a bit longer

Is it your daily driver? then I say both, if not why purchase a convertible. I couldn't justify a hardtop as it is a fair weather car only.

No need for a HT imo.

I'm looking for a s2k to buy and can't decide on hard top or soft top.
It's your call to make. Try without and see if you think you really want one after driving it for a bit.
