Not only does the HT look cool, it totally changes the lines of the car. I swear everytime my HT is on, it looks like the hood is longer. The other cool thing is there is more head room inside with the HT on for things like a helmet.
Not trying to flame you here, but the reason I didn't get the hardtop is that I have NO headroom with it. The ragtop is much thinner, and with the seat all the way back my head is below a gap in the spanners. With the hardtop, the roof liner is an even surface and subsequently lower due to the insulation. I was all set to order one, then sat in one on the lot that had the hardtop and found I couldn't sit up straight w/o my head rubbing the roof. Not to scare anyone off, but try it for size first. I am rather tall though, so chances are you won't have an issue.

I happen to prefer the windshield tape ON as well. I think it makes that lines of the windshield frame blend into the darker look of the windows. That's my preference.

I feel the same way as well. IMO, the frame of the windshield looks too skinny with the tape off. I have a Sebring w/ hardtop.

To each his own, but I feel pulling the tape incorporates the top better with the car to make it look like less of an "add on". Either way you slice it, the top is awesome!!! I actually got my top off someone who wrecked their car, so for the top and equip from Hardtopguy (awesome to deal with), I paid like 1700...not too shabby if you ask me...
