I have to admit...with the windshield tape off, the hard top flows quite nicely into the windshield and right on into the hood. It makes the hard top look like it belonged there from the very beginning, as though maybe it isn't even a convertible! I'm so torn... should I or should I not! O_O

Do it!

A word of caution on the install. There are 5 nuts on each rear adjustment. DON'T loosen all 5 at one time or you'll never get it adjusted properly. Wind noise will result. Take your time and loosen the adjustment nuts that control only one axis at a time.

I'm sure hardtop guy can help.

I'm going to get the hard top for sure... but should I or should I not remove the windshield tape.

Thanks for the information. I'll be getting my hard top from hardtopguy, so I'm sure he'll provide all the necessary info I need. ^_^

I hate being the fly in the ointment, but there is another good reason to avoid buying the hardtop. Once you put the hardtop on for the winter you will miss being able to take the top down on all of those beautiful, sunny and unseasonably warm late fall, early spring and winter days. Those are very special top down days.

I admit the hardtop is beautiful, but those top down days are some of the best I have ever enjoyed.

Triple H,

Your car is sweet. I, too, put on the black chrome badges (haven't yet put on the side S2000 ones due to fear of screwing it up). They look awesome on your car. I do like the first picture better though with the original wheels. But to each his own.

Good job.

If anyone removed the windshield tape and dislikes it, I am selling the tape. It is brand new and an OEM piece. PM me .
