It's got plenty of torque to get around, bone-stock and below 6K.

Depends on what you expect of it. A lot of people seem to think this car was meant to some kind of supercar or something, and thus will (obviously) feel it missed the mark.

It's just a Honda roadster, it was meant to spank the Miata, not out-grunt a GTO.

Exactly, I think it's a good thing. You can drive people around and never shift above 6k. Once you do they'll be like oh shit did you get a turbo?!

Track that baby. Then you'll get out of being bored.

Buying a second car would be a good idea, although itll be another insurance payment Im sure a nice scenic trip would be nice since all I do is go to and from work which is 90% highway. I love the S and it is an amazing car, but the uncomfortable ride is getting to me lol. Im sure on the track I wouldnt complain.

And I dunno bout 30mpg but I barely get 22mpg highway...

once in a while it can get mundane. Just find a way to stop driving it for a couple days, that's what I did. When you get back in the seat and hit VTEC you'll need new pants. Again.

WOW !!!

I get in the high 26-29 most of the time. Most of my driving is on back roads etc.

I'm sure even a Ferrari would get boring or annoying if you drove it on the same route to work everyday.

Any modified car gets old. I went through to mod phase with a Porsche 944 Turbo, then my civic (now a weekend track toy) and the S2000 is still stock. In stock form its quiet, and stiffness is not an issue. (at least not when my previous daily driver was 400f/500r spring rates (2100 pounds)

You mistake is daily driving a honda with exhaust. (and suspension)

There isn't much reason for these mods if you are 90% highway.

i believe the s2000 is just one of those cars that just isn't for everybody. i just had bought mine and i am contemplating if i should still keep mine. i really love the car. but no back seats and other things that i need in a daily driver is not there. good luck with your car man and you should really think about if you wanna sell her.
