Hate Crime or Theft!?
If you need to do it yourself, theres a really good tutorial/DIY sticky somewhere. I did it myself, prepare to have a friend help you (bulky stuff) in some situations. It took me about a full day to remove/install my top...plus when I was there, I ground down all the sharp edges so it wouldnt cut my new top, wiped things down, etc.
So I've been staring at the picture...is it possible a branch or something fell through? the cut is really uneven, a knife would go right through our softtop like butter - I cut mine to remove it, and even with a dull knife the cut was pretty clean.

I feel like it's a cut and then a rip. Definitely not a tree.

I'm thinking like...someone placed a square box on the edge of your top, near the corner where its all f'skd.
could he be drunk exiting his car and fell onto the roof with his keys?
there are all sorts of speculations. I Just wished this never happen- cause now it's money out of my pocket for some random act of f**CKERY

I had a person pour a super sized coke through the open sunroof of my prelude waayy back in the day so im always on guard for these random acts of assholeness. Park where you can watch your car from a window or park where other people will be watching it and you should be fine in the future. Garages are nice for keeping the rain off your vehicle but they are actually less secure that just parking outside under a street light.

You have a 2002 correct? That new top will look alot better than your old one. Any cameras in the garage??
