hate my S
Its been over a year now since i owned my S. The reason for buying it was because my DD 94 accord died
So I just ended up buying the S to be my new car. I couldn't wait to fix accord because i need a car for work. I
the S the minute i sat in it and
(VTEC)
cars quick. Over the year of ownership I drive it 25 miles each way to work and back. I got tired of it because it started to become a DD and i never drove it hard. Its not what i wanted. I just got used to it and didn't enjoy driving it anymore. Didn't get to drive it like it should be driven since its a roadster!!!
I have fixed my accord and been driving the accord for a little over 2 weeks now. The S sat in the garage where it belongs. Today i rolled it out and gave the S a washy. Drove it around the block and feel in
with S again. Just that short drive reminded me why I got this car to begin with. Tomorrow im gonna take the S out for a spin and really enjoy the reason my i got the S those who have two cars and get to drive the S every once in a while know what im talking about
those who only have the S and like to have two cars will really enjoy their S more if they get a second car
just wanted to share my feelings about the S and see if anyones gone thru what i have or something similar
A quick question- what's up with the thread title? You say you hate your S then praise it in the thread....
BTW I have a scooter and use it as much as possible for work. I use the S for play(only have 2800 miles in 15 mths of ownership) so do agree with you.

My DD is a Fit, and I work downtown where I WILL NOT park the S. In the past week, I've actually taken the S out twice, which is a record for any 2-week period this sumer. I'll take her out again tomorrow to a Labor Day picnic! Crazy me - actually driving the car. I've put 22K on her in 5.5 years.
She's always special that way. I get what you're saying.

I have 2 Daily Drivers so the S shares DD duties that is why my S only 6,000 in 6 months.
I had a choice the S would be gone but the other DD is just way too expensive to fix when it breaks which it does do sometimes
Anyway, I know what you mean about driving something else and getting back into the S, its a plain jane looking car but its a AWESOME car once inside and VTEC'd.

I fail to see why having the S as a DD would diminish it's ability to be driven "like a roadster!!" on weekends?
I DD mine to work, about 5 miles each way (woooo) and dont mind it a bit, then turn around on weekends and go blasting all over the state with a grin on my face.
I also have a Motorcycle I commute with, but more often than not, I find myself thinking "Wouldnt I rather go with the sun on my face"

mmmm....I hate to do it but I can't stay out of my modded s. I drive it to work usualy everyday which is 40miles one way. Then I have to take it out to play on the weekends of course
so I guess my average is 600-800miles per week. Still runs like a scolded dog baby!

My S is a DD since Feb. and I have not lost one bit of enthusiasm for it. My daily work roundtrip is about 30 miles, and I enjoy every minute of being in this car.
I also don't have a need for a practical car though.
