Default have a ? about buildin a motor

hey i have been thinkin on buildin my motor and was wondering where there is a good source of info. on this. I was wanting to upgrade the rods and go with high compersion pistion. because i want to do a na setup. and like to find out who does good work and what all im going to be look foward to. i have a 05 s2k and wondering what all i can do. any info i would greatly apperceate. thanks

the rods and pistons in your motor are already forged. The compression is already very high in order to extract 240hp from only 4 cylinders. I just bought my S a few days ago, so I can't give you any real advise though.

other than going 12:1 there's not much else to do really. Also, 12:1 probably won't help much.

the only reason I would touch the internals is to go with a strong, low compression forced-induction setup.

The 12:1 could yield some power gains (maybe 10 rwhp), but I see he lives in concord and I know there is a concord in the bay area, so inlight of that you would hard-pressed to find some high octane gas stations because our 91 california octane wouldn't cut it.
