I tap them out with the tube. When the top is all the way down I think the tube is resting in
the forward part of the window.

None of my creases are permanent. So there is no "initial" crease. If there are creases, it's because I just put the top back up after driving a few hours with the top down. The creases are the two common horizontal lines where the window folds. These cannot be "tapped" out while the top is two-thirds of the way down. You get what I'm saying?
So for those who use any sort of tube with their back window, do you slide it flush against the plastic or do you kind of leave some space between the tube and the window? I have been place it flush against the plastic rear window.

Ahhh, so if a person who has the tube is willing to stop halfway to put the tube in... why not save some cash and just poke the vertically creasing fold out and have it do the same thing and not have to worry about putting the tube in the trunk when you want to put the top back up?
It was to my understanding that the protector eliminated the two horizontal creases. Guess not.

I went to Auto Zone and purchased a $10 roll of black auto carpet. I cut out a piece and put it in my window well. It looks great and stays in place. I use Plexus to keep the window crystal clear and polished. I keep an eye on the window as the top is going down and once in every ten times I have to hop out and pop out a crease. My window looks great.
