Default Head rest problems: voluntary recall underway, free replacement with new model

To put it bluntly, we've had a problem with the headrests coming unglued. Some of them were inadvertently made with a glue that does not withstand heat, thus the separation. We just didn't know who got the faulty ones. Also, the quality of the workmanship has been spotty: some are great and some have been, well, not so great.

We urge anyone having a problem with their headrests to get in touch with us.

Thanks for letting everyone know about this, Rick. I've already received my replacements, and they are, indeed, very well made. They also fit very snugly in the openings, and I haven't even had to secure them to keep them in place. Nice work, Rick. I appreciate how quickly you came up with a solution.

Wow, very impressive Rick. You definately know how to run and opperate a business. I haven't ordered anything from you YET, but posts like this really say a lot about you and your business. I will definately be ordering many things soon.

1Y2KS2K,

You got a repaired set of the original design. If you're satisfied, great! But you can return them for the new version if you're not.

Rick Hesel, you are first class.

You already know this, but I'll just put it here for the list. I ordered the headrests months ago. One was pretty good at first and one look amateur at first. In time the better one deteriorated. Whenever anyone eyed my car, their attention was drawn to "Honda's" poor leatherwork. Noone even noticed the exquisite center console leather.

I mentioned it to Rick and he asked me to turn it for free repair/replacement. A month later, I mailed Rick again and AGAIN he asked me to return it. I did about three or four weeks ago.

Before this thread I was going to ask, "How long?" Now I know how long: long enough so that this time it will be excellent!!!!!!!!!

Rick, you are the best. Thanks

Barry
