i'd go with whichever one costs more, as i'm sure your parents are buying for you
And this posts benefits how?
OT, but this posts is exactly one of the reasons why a great forum turns sour.

To the OP - test drive both, and get what you like the best. And yes, you can swap headlights.

I believe it's stemming from the recent rash of "should I get a 350z or s2000 posts" as of late. Honestly there's no real point of asking that on an s2000 board. What do you think an overwhelming majority will suggest? Not to mention if you read through the first few pages you can find VERY similar threads on the same subject.

Also it seems that these repetitive (and sometimes poorly written/thought out) topics/posts are coming from younger people getting the car. There's a general feeling that young people buying s2000's are stupid and don't deserve the car. As a young person (21) I hate the stigma but try to show that not all young owners are dumb or lazy.

i'm glad you understand....can you honestly tell me at 18 this kid can afford not only to purchase the car but insure it under his own name?

i'm sorry but i have no respect for these children that have minimal to no driving experience driving more performance oriented cars...

this is in light of the fact that spoiling your kid serves no purpose and only skews their view of the real world...plus the fact if you work for something you tend to appreciate it more...

i saw too many kids when i was younger get a nice car, crash it or go to rehab, parents think it's their fault so they just buy them a new car....what does that teach?

there are more important things at 18, like getting into college and getting an education than throwing money away on a car....

I completley agree with you that other thing such as school is more important at their age - except your attitude is that of a "young kid" as well. You've just made one huge assumption that the OP's parents were the ones purchasing the car for them. And you've made an assumption that they do not have any goals other than a 'high performance car' is in their sights.

All I'm saying is, you can't hammer on someone without knowing the facts. And who are you to judge them if their parents are purchasing the car for them? Fact of the matter is, why do you care?
