Hey all, Since driving my S2000 for 18 months I have noticed the cockpit tends to get warm around the tranny, I suspect it is the thin carpet padding. I am having my trim shop replace the padding with a thicker grade. I will let you know if the heat and sound insulation improves at all.

JW3,

I noticed this too. The cabin especially heats up after the drive and the windows are up.

While driving at speeds you can really feel a rush of warm air coming up through the park brake handle assembly. I loved this during the winter, nice hand warmer. Not so good in the summer.

I've noticed this also, I thought it was the weather though.

I noticed this but it seems more variable than just the ambient temperature. Maybe if I'm revving more? Haven't figured it out but if it gets any worse this summer...

The heat is there but tolerable. In my C-4 Corvette the heat was enough to make you run the AC from March to November, and I lived in Massachusetts then.
