Could you provide more information on the place that does this? Maybe their website or something? For $460, I would consider getting this done.

You need heated seats in So Cal???
Yes. For someone who lives farther inland, the overnight temperature in winter can be below freezing. For someone who livse along the coast, the low rarely falls below 45F and during the day the temperature can be in mid 60's to mid 70's or higher in middle of winter.

Someone here had them installed on the back center console under the glove box door of their AP2. I think if I got heated seats this is where I'd mount mine. (think elbow activated and you'll get an idea where they are.)

That's where mine are too, although I guess I didn't describe it very well. They are on either side of the cigar lighter plug. Sorry, I don't have photos, but there were some in the thread that was posted a couple of weeks ago.

DO you have any details on the make of the kits? Would like a set for mine and was going to try looking for them on ebay or contacting the company to see if they would ship to the UK?

Here is the link to Checkcorp, the manufacturer of the Check heated seat kits. I don't know about availability in the UK, but there is info for distributors/installers all over the USA.

http://www.checkcorp.com/

They have a video on how to do the installation, although they resist selling to non-installers when you phone Check.
