I was thinking about getting this mod but i didn't want diffrent buttons on my car so i was wondering if any other honda like the accord had heated seats in the car or would i have to get the acura ones?(sister has MDX so i know they have heated seats for acura)
The '03+ Accords have the option for heated seats, my friend's Accord Coupe has it, but I can't remember for the life of me what they look like ...

Definitely interested in getting heated seats for the S ... would be really nice for those cooler mornings when you're driving top down

This is the one option that I really wish came as stock on the S2000. In Canada at least, they come as standard equipment on the RSX Premium and Type-S, came with the Prelude, but not the drop-top roadster? What gives?

I -love- my heated seats - those and a much better stereo will be the two "priority" changes i'll do to my future-S2000.

This thread inspired me...I had seat heaters installed in my '05. They are fabulous! I had the switches mounted on either side of the 12V outlet between the seats. It looks like factory equipment, and they heat better/faster than the seats on my Acura MDX.

Installed price: $499.

While I was at the place that installed them, I also had the windows tinted (35%) and a sunstrip installed across the top of the windshield. I've never had aftermarket tinting done before, but it looks terrific. The car definitely looks more "sinister" with the darker windows.

Maybe the strip across the windshield will help compensate for the crappy excuses for sun visors Honda installed.

The kits and installation cost $460. I had them put the switches on either side of the cigar lighter plug, behind and between the seats. The installation looks like a factory job.
Where exactly did you have it done? I would like to have it done on mine too.
Thanks in advance.

Has anyone tried to install these themselves or had experience removing the leather on the seats? I emailed checkcorp to try to get the heated seats myself to install, but they've yet to email me back.

Also, for those of you that have had them installed, could you post pics of the switches? I'd love to see the possibilities of where to install them.

Here's a couple of pics from the seat heater install. From the pic, I can see that the installer got the driver's side switch slightly higher than the passenger side. I wouldn't have noticed this if you guys hadn't asked for this pic!

The switches appear to be of good quality and matches the Honda switchgear.

I had mine done at a place in Noblesville, IN called "Auto Outfitters." They seem to be kind of a full-service "Pimp-my-Ride" shop. They do a lot of interior work, so I felt reasonably comfortable having them remove/replace the leather seat covers.

The seats look fine...no wrinkling at all and they feel the same (except much warmer!).

Awesome!!! I live in Flagstaff and often take early morning rides down Oak Creek Canyon when its about 25 degrees (F) outside. I'm adding this feature ASAP.

Anyone in AZ know of a good installer?
