Default Hella Supertones- Need Help

I just replaced my Fiamm air horns with Supertones. I think I have wired something the wrong way. The sound resembles the stock horn-not what I expected (road runner "meep-meep"). I thought they would be louder than the air horns. My first guess is that I should use the ground from the battery instead of the ground bundle. I haven't checked to compare the voltage on the horns to the alternator yet.
Does anyone who installed these horns have any input or direction for me?

I has the same thing, and reversing the wires will not make a difference. They are supposed to sound that way, just make sure that the frame of the horn is not resting against the chassis, only the mounting tab should rest against the chassis. You will get used to them, I have had them for a year and love them .

Make sure they are wired in series, not parallel, both are getting 12 v and grouned. To make sure, but one on each ear and have someone honk the horn. If you go through the roof, both are working, if you go through the left wall, only the right is working, and if you go through the right wall, only the left one works.

but one on each ear ...
I think I ran them in series. Ran a + from the relay and split it 'Y' style at the end. Same for the ground.
If you go through the roof
Do you mean from the sound?

If you split it in to a Y, that's parallel, and is the right way.

I highly doubt the supertones will be louder than the FIAMM air horns.
