Default Help with brakes

I am in need of getting my brakes replaced today... is there any national chain autoparts store that would cary new brake pads for the S2000? Do our brake pads fit other Honda's so that I could maybe look for prelude pads etc..?

*crosses fingers*

The Honda P/N's are S2000 specific, that doesn't mean for sure they're not the same as something else but, ............. thought I'd throw that out. Originally, I was guessing the rears were the same as something else, but they ended up costing more than the fronts so now I'm not so sure.

Hey RT, i dont know who you bouht your brakes from, but you should not go back to them. the rear pads are the same pd honda has been using for more than 10 years now. FMSI part number is a D365 or a D537. as for the front, well, its the same as a new acura rsx type s, but thats not going to help you any. The FMSI part number for the front is a D829.
if you have trouble locating some, and yes brands are important , a lot of stuff on this car will make noise, drop me a line and i ll help you out. hope that helps some
