After the plugs and compression check, i'll know how far up a creek without a paddle i am. grrrrr....

Actually, one of our FL members dropped 2 valves about a month or so ago. When the owner got the head off, we were really surprised to see how little damage was done. Tops of 2 pistons were nicked so slightly the only give away was that the cabon was knocked off. One valve was bent and the other snapped the stem up high, so there was no head damage at all. Did a basic head job with new valves and retainers and the car was ready to go.

So there is hope.
