I just got the factory front spoiler extension. I have a question regarding the fit.
On the sides of the spoiler where it attaches to the car with the two self-tapping screws, at the top screw, where the top of the spoiler meets the bumper, does it fit totally flush against the bumper?
Closer to the inside of the car, mine sits out a little bit, like it is not wrapping around the bumper properly.
Anybody else have this problem? I was thinking maybe it was the cold weather or something that wasn't allowing it to flex.
Thanks in advance!

Sounds like you have the right idea. Flexible materials don't flex when cold. Try bringing it in the house and put it up high (heat rises). Let the material "normalize" at room temp for 24 hours minimum. Then try again. Should be easier this time as you know what your up against.
I don't think the cold is your problem. There are four (?) screws that you added on the bottom. They fit in elongated slots at intervals along the length of the spoiler. Slacken them off, have someone push the front of the spoiler so it mates with the bumper surface, then tighten the screws again, center ones first, one by one. The last ones to insert and tighten are the ones inside the fender well. If you haven't drilled the holes exactly right, they'll stop the spoiler from fitting correctly (by trying to "spring' the front outwards). In that case, I'm not sure what to suggest (if you mis-drilled the holes). You may have to drill an offset and then try using screws with larger threads. I hope not!

1Y2KS2K, yes, I did this exactly, and the fit of the spoiler is perfectly aligned with ALL the holes, AND the pre-formed hole in the fender wells on either side.
I followed the directions to the 'T'.
Everything aligns up perfectly. The spoiler cannot go up anymore, and it cannot go 'in' anymore either. And all the black sealing where the spoiler meets the bumper align perfectly too and there are no gaps here. As I said, everything aligns and fits perfectly - except that it just sits away from the inner bumper a tiny little bit.
Maybe it's the fit of my particular spoiler?
