Default Help...I can't drive the speed limit.

Man, I've had MY02 for 2 1/2 months now and I'm having a real problem driving slow. Is it just me or do alot of us have this problem. I don't believe this car was manufactured to be driven slow. Oh well maybe professional and /or official help may cure my affliction. NOT.

Welcome to the club.

There has been a long standing debate here about the value/need for cruise control in a car such as the S. For me I have always stood on the side of the fence that says it is a great thing to have. I have some nasty long 40 to 45 mph stretches that I drive often, no other cars, just cops sitting in the bushes. I use the cruise to keep myself in control in places like this.

Scott,

Don't slow down, just get a good radar detector.

I did not know this car had cruise control.

Yeah, I'll look down & see I'm going 60 in a 35 without trying.

But most of the time there's someone in front of me doing at least 5 mph less than the speed limit so I don't have to think about it (we don't have those great open roads here that you guys do in the west).

The cruise control works but it is soooo . . . . .

5mph less than the speed limit @_@..
right here in houston, most of the roads have a speed limit of 45~55mph, and everyone ALWAYS drive at least 5mph faster.
