New owner here and my car came with an engine torque damper that I’m looking to remove. The engine torque damper is installed with an extended bolt and I can’t seem to find a diagram that identifies the part. Also would love to know the torque spec for it. Here’s a pic with where the bolt goes that I’m looking for and basically located right by the timing chain tensior.
It is in the Honda shop manual. I have a paper copy but I also have an electronic copy of it. Super nice thing to have if you are doing your own work.
That's awesome you've got an electronic copy because anytime I'm working on mine & need to look something up I wash my hands so as not to get the pages dirty.

I am a paper manual person when working in the shop. Yep it does get a little dirty but I dont like messing with my laptop with greasy hands and reading off a screen, so I generally use the paper copy. My electronic copy is ok, but annoyingly while the main section TOC is clickable and works, the TOC for each main section is not so you have to scroll a lot to find the right page. Not the best setup but it was cheap when I got it. I had a neighbor that worked as an automotive teacher that caught me leaving one day and handed me a brand new, still in the plastic shop manual that the school was about to throw away with a bunch of old stuff. He remembered seeing me driving one and held onto it for me!
