Default Engine lift/stand bolts?

What size bolts am I going to need to attach the engine to a hoist? Also, what are the bolts required for safely keeping the engine on a stand?

One more thing, I know that the front mounting location for the lift is the unused hole near the v-tec solenoid. Where is the rear mounting location?

Thanks fellas.

You should find the other threaded hole on the diagonal side of the engine (opposite side, other end). These are not really "mounting" locations. They are for attaching hooks or loops so you can use a chain to lift the engine up and out. For mounting onto an engine stand, you would use the same size bolts that attach the transmission to the back of the engine (same holes I think).

Hmm is it under the intake manifold? Also, does anyone know what size the bolts are for the chain mounting locations? Thanks!

I have never made a "visual" on that one. It's pointed out in the Helm manual. From the Vortech manual, those holes should take a "M10 X 1.25 X 50mm" bolt. You might want a different length one for attaching a lifting hook.
