Default Help. Installed Hardtop and its off on one side.

Is is off by like a half inch on the driver side. wind comes thru really bad and the door barely shuts with the window down. its off where the striker is. Anyone know how to fix this?

Is this the first time putting a hardtop on this car? or has it fit on this car before?
The mounting points in the rear should have been aligned/adjusted before tightening.

Takes a little adjusting but you'll get it, you may want to loosen both catchers fit it, then tighten.

The correct way (in simple terms) to align the top is to:

1. Loosen the bolts betwen the top and the rear latches (the parts with the levers that swing fore and aft).
2. Latch the front latches.
3. Tighten the bolts referred to above, with the levers in the unlatched position.
4. Latch the rear latches.

The details are given here.
