Honda can lick my balls, and Hondacare is a scam so big it should be a target of an Oraginzed Crime investigation by the FBI.

Is that specific enough? I REALLY hope Honda monitors this board and sees how disgusted people are with Hondacare and how that would keep some people (like me) from ever buying another Honda.

I never buy extended warranties from any car company. They are all a rip off.

I also hate to say it, but even though it probably has nothing to do with the problem, this is a likely outcome from installing race-only, street-illegal parts like a test pipe.
Yup.

But 'modding' is all 'bout the joy YO.

5k is such a small price to pay for the excitement and stench what comes from running dat test pipe.

If they remain pricks, get a written denial of coverage, IN WRITING, this will most likely burn their ass when your lawyer presents then with the Magnuson-Moss act - unless they can prove those mods did the damage, they have to cover..... btw, get that goddamn fram filter off they are shit and oh lord the stories. Stock honda oil filters are amazing and nothing aftermarket can compare to them, stay oem with the oil filters!!

hells yeah! Nothing like pickin up 2.3hp with a TP whilst polluting out the ass (and smelling like ass).

The TP really gives you that competitive edge over the other ricers. You'll be running 10sec 1/4s like nobodys business.

I am with you on this one. I practically had to tell the sales manager at signing to shove the honda care up his ass else im not buying the car. He was pretty pissed I wouldnt buy it, but Im no moron. There are aftermarket warranty companies that will insure a SC'd car, just need to get stuff in writing before shelling out!

The law says that they would have to PROOVE that your aftermarket modifications indeed threw your valves out of alignment to deny your claim...
The law says nothing of the kind. I'd suggest educating *yourself* on exactly what the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act says and does not say before dispensing any more "advice".

And to the OP, going in for major warranty service with any kind of aftermarket performance parts on the car is beyond stupid. I mean honestly, what did you expect they would say?

That would be SO cool except the Magnuson-Moss act doesn't apply to an extended warranty.
