Default HELP PLEASE

Today after the big rain storm we had, I noticed a lot of water in my trunk, about an inch covering the felt in the hole. Has anybody had this problem, also sometimes, not all the time, when it is stopped and I put it in first gear it feels like the tranmission moves and makes a clunk sound, could it be the rear trans. mount that is bad ? Thanks.

the clunk sound from shifting into first from a stop is normal.

about the trunk--maybe you have a spoiler that's not covering some holes that were already drilled in the trunk (for another spoiler)? or maybe your trunk is missing the rubber gasket thing/it's loose?

I don't have a spoiler, and I checked the rubber gasket around the trunk, I was thinking the leak maybe coming from the gasket around the tail lights

Somebody help out here, but are our trunk latches adjustable for "tighter or looser" fit like our hood latches are? If so, tightening up the trunk lid closure could be a solution.

I already did that, if I go down any more the trunk will be out of alignment with the rear fenders

Check the FAQ in the Under the Hood forum. There is a post on how to fix the trunk water leak.

i'm not sure because i installed it with my stock exhaust on first. then, it made no difference. whether it would have made a difference with my HKS i don't know because i already had it on before i put on the HKS. but more than likely it made a difference. either way, my HKS wouldn't sound sweet without it
