Help on Rear Spoiler
When I bought my S2000, I had the dealer put on the OEM rear spoiler. Of course, on this board I've come to appreciate many after-market mods and I'm considering buying a Feels rear spoiler to replace the OEM spoiler.
1) Assuming the drill holes for the new spoiler don't line up, how can the original drill holes be repaired?
2) The Feels spoiler comes unpainted. Any tips for how this is done?
I know I can go to a dealer or a body shop and have these questions answered, but frankly, I trust this board more. Any suggestions? If the drill holes don't line up, is this a change I should even be considering?

Its all good bro. All you need to do is do some welding to plug the holes and prevent it from rusting/corroding. After that, you will need to repaint the trunk lid and the rear spoiler. I asked about molding the holes with bondo or some sort and I found out that it would crack after opening and closing the trunk repeatedly. Your best bet would be to weld the trunk holes. A great job on the welding and priming should cost around $150. Anyhow, hope that answers most of your questions.
Do some searches of salvage yards. Black has been out for all model years and I have seen many totalled S2K photos. Surely you could buy a black trunk lid really cheap and then add your Feels spoiler. This would also let you give someone a choice of spoilers when selling or trading it. Your second option is to find an owner of a black one w/o a spoiler that wants the OEM. Not only would you not have to pay for repairs and painting, but you may make enough to cover the painting and installation of the new spoiler. Worst case scenario, it should be an even swap.
