New celica GT-S w/HID's have the adjustable HID lights, they are kinda neat. I do seem to blind a lotta people!

Those Infiniti lights are too cool! Do they automatically set, when you first turn the car on?

By the way, I'm hearing UK S2000's DO come with auto levelling HID's? Maybe a law?

I'm not sure what you mean bu automatically set. When you turn them on, they do they same thing the s2000 HIDS do. Then you have full control of the height, low or high.

So do the housing move up and down briefly for a moment after you first turn the car on?

I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like it levels out when you first turn them on like in the S. You get that flicker, then it evens out on the ground.

I think the auto levelling shoot up and down before remaining steady, upon turning the key. If you get a chance have someone check yours out when you turn on the lights. By the way, NICE PICS of YOUR S2k.

Thanks, I check it out.

The one video link I posted shows the light turning on/off... Not sure if you can tell.

Here's a neat shot:

My father had auto leveling HID's on his Lexus RX300 and we both agree that they were horrible headlights. When going over a bump, the auto levelers would adjust the beam so far downward that it would be impossible to see even 20 feet infront of you. I know that it keeps the lights from blinding other drivers and all, but I would think that us now being able to see would be more of a hazard to them than a tiny bit of glare.

I have also taken a ride in my friend's IS300. THESE were by far the worst beam pattern I have ever seen. Because they were aimed so sharply downward, I couldn't even see as much as i could when the lights of the RX300 auto leveled over a bump.

The s2000 headlights are by FAR the best set of HID's i've seen. They spread a wide, even beam pattern that lets you see not only the road, but what's on the sides of it.
