I did a search through S2Ki.com and found that some of you guys had some luck getting Honda to pay b/c it was a manufacturer's error.

yeah.... couple weeks ago my top malfuctioned and ripped two holes on my top.....my warrenty covered it....

Im waiting for the dealership to get the top in, and they will replace mine as well, i have an 05' with 20,00 miles on it.

small rip, but im worried it will continue to grow with the top opening/closing all the time.

 

my top was replaced under warranty. the elastic straps were not retracting one of the ribs fully back so the top closed wrong. the idiots cut off the rivets that held the straps in place so now i can hear it rattling around when i turn. make sure they replace the straps or the problem will persist. take in the tsb.
