There is really nothing else that appeals to me right now. I actually might buy an 07or 08 if thats the last year.

that was C/D's M roadster review that referred to the S2000 btw, not R&T. the C/D writers are always mentioning the S2000 in their car reviews and articles. pretty nuts, for a nearly seven year-old car

I put my 06 on a lift today for the first time to see the REAL S2000. If you own one and have never done a front to back inspection from the belly, you owe it to yourself. The car is amazing -- it is what you don't see that really makes the S2000 special. Those same parts exisited in 2000 the exist in 2006 and it is a credit to Honda that they did not go cheap an eliminate the good stuff. Also, thanks to Honda for putting so much $$$ in the car for things you normally don't see.
Sure, there are competitors that are faster, like the 350Z, but none that give you such a well engineered and balanced car for $30k.
Mine is not for sale and won't be for a very long time.

I'm about in the middle (so far) of the S2000. I got the last of the ap1s. Like classic coke it's still good.
One thing that's OK about not changing very much is it's less tempting to trade in on the new-gen. Yes I'd like the bigger wheels or the stability control. HELL YES I'd like the airbag cut-off.
But by and large my 03 is much like any other MY. So it's not worth the $10K plus to trade. I was tempted by the airbag cut off. But not enough of a difference for me to justify.

Not tempted by bigger wheels because to me the older ones looked better, could care less about the airbag switch, stability control would be nice but the most tempting thing about the new S is that LAGUNA BLUE color!
