The Gernby FlashPRO tune of my 2006 car has the fuel cut out set at 8400rpm. My red-line beeper starts a 7500, then 7800, 8100, and 8400. Max power is at 7800 (220.5 HP at 7833 on a Mustang dyno). In the lower gears the car is accelerating so fast (for me!) that I don't have too much time to look at the tach and the beeper is vital. Rings like an alarm clock in lower gears -- shift now! Beeps string out in higher gears as in beep-beep-beep-shift.
