Forgot one thing:

he was doing at least 120KMH (But I won't be surprised it was 140KMH) in a rural zone. That explains better why he's not around anymore.

This car is just like a red rag to a bull to some boy racers. I'm sure we can all recount stories though not as awful as this one. The fact that he took no one with him is extremely fortunate.

I have no sympathy whatsoever! Ronald I'm glad you're alright.

I'm glad that you're alright Ronald. It's really sad that the guy's wife expected him to die this way. I guess some people bever learn the dangers of racing, no matter how old they are.

I'm glad you made it okay but I'm very sorry that you had to experience this. Some nightmares are real.

Glad to hear you are alright, sounds like that other guy was testing darwin's theory. Any word from the guy's family? Do they plan to sue you even though you did nothing wrong?

Ronald,

Glad to hear you're OK. I can't imagine being involved in something like that. Best wishes for you and your S2K .

Ronald,

We're all very thankful you're ok.

Your description of this incident reminds me of the crazy things people will do to try to prove that they can keep pace with or outdrive the S2000. I see examples nearly every day, and it is frightening. This guy paid with his life for being stupid and you were trying to avoid him.

My practice now is to exert as much self-control as I can by refusing to do anything to encourage this idiocy, like street racing someone, or trying to outrun a fool.

I'm glad you're ok.

I think it's terrible what happened.

He was a very stupid driver, but I think it's somewhat brutal to call this evolution or say it was ok that he died!
Despite this man's stupidity in driving, he may have been smart in other things. Who knows what (if anything) he contributed to?

I'm not saying he was good at anything else or at helping others, I'm just saying it's possible, and that one should be kind. A man did die.

You're right, Sir Tom GT. It is horrible someone died, and no doubt he left behind people who loved and cared form him, and for that we should be sorry. All the more reason we should not do stupid things ourselves behind the wheel.
