I drive it hard pretty often. It's pretty damn impossible not to. I dont redline the car though. Probably hit the rev limiter once that's it.

Those damn twisty roads are such a tease though. Like a girl laying ahead of u naked or something...gotta hit it hard.

I waited till 1000 miles before I entered "THE VTEC ZONE". I also changed by oil @ 1000 miles and at every 1000 since. I wait until 3 bars on the "temp"gauge and the tires are up to temps.

At this point where ever the road opens up I'm back in "THE VTEC ZONE"

This spring will bring about my return to SCCA autocossing;so 360's I hope not;you can't win class that way. But I will test my limits with the car just as I did with my 89 CRX Si' way back in 89

you must be using non detergent .89 cent a quart oil to have to change it so often... that's the only reason I can figure you can afford to change it that often..

honestly i beat the living hell outa mine, shift hard and high every time i drive it! I still got 18k out of the stock rears and now have 21k on the car. Still runs as good if not better then wen i baught it. I need a valve adjustment though.....redlining dozens of times per drive takes its toll

when the valvetrain makes excessive ticking noise, you'll notice it when your car is idling.
