How badly do you beat on your S??
Dealers don't want your car to last forever, the would like to sell you another in a reasonable amount of miles. Hence the 7500 interval. 3000 is the limit....You were smart to leave the break-in oil in for a while.
Love to drive MY01
After all, its a friggin sports car!
I positively can not drive this car slow
I need to wind out each gear & VETEC as much as possible
Taken the corners fast enough to scare me gives me a rush- since I don't do drugs anymore, I really need it!
haven't done any wheel spins or 360's yet, but who knows!
This car WANTS to be driven hard!
Have fun!!!!!!!

Aside from tire wear, will doing donuts stress anything out on the car? Ive owned MY 01 for almost 3 months now i suppose and Ive been tempted to do some 360s but never have because I didnt want to risk tearing up something.

I don't think I "beat" my s2k:
-I've hit the revlimiter twice...once in first and once in second.
-I change my oil every 3,750 miles (about 1/2 highway driving because I have a 40 mile commute one way five days a week)
-I bought the car used at 25K, since then I have changed the oil three times, received differential and transmission fluid service, changed the air filter, and got a new a/c filter.
-Tires are in good shape...more than 1/2 original tread left after putting 11,000 miles on car.
-What I need to do next? Probably get the brakes inspected and do a coolant flush???
I do drive the car hard and every now and then when shifting, I will grind second gear shifting from first (with the clutch fully engaged). Sometimes, it happens...sometimes it doesn't. Usually, if I do it real fast it will gring so lately when I am driving her hard from the get go I shift a bit slower into second.

I guess you can consider me driving my car hard, Vtec it alot per outing...constantly downshifting to high RPM's at every offramp (trying to practice heel-toe) occasionally drift, never do burn outs or clutch drops, I auto-cross the car also... and so far I have been changing my own oil every 4k-5k with mobil1 synthetic
no burnouts, no miss-shifts. no e-brakes, no clutch dumps. i do drive the s2000 hard though. its extremely hard not to go around the block with out getting her in v-tech. just be carefull and dont over do it. i have hit the rev limitor though, but i plan not to do that again...... drive safe......
